Plum Tart
You will need:
2 frozen
3-oz. muffins made from Vie de France Lemon Poppyseed Muffin
Batter (SKU 9611)
4 T sugar
1/4 C macadamia nuts
2-3 T softened butter
3/4 C cream cheese
filling
4-5 plums, thinly
sliced
1/2 C streusel (optional)
cinnamon sugar
Instructions:
Dice muffins and
place in food processor with sugar and nuts. When the mixture
becomes like cake meal, add enough butter so the crumbs will
hold together when pressed. Press mixture into a 4 x 13"
tart pan and bake at 350F until edges are light brown. Remove
pan from oven and cool. Add cream cheese filling and place
plum slices on top in a decorative fashion. Add generous amount
of cinnamon sugar (and streusel if desired). Bake at 350F
for another 20 minutes until plums soften and start to brown.
