Vie de France Midi Baguette (SKU 7848)
12oz Fresh Diced Roma Tomato
6oz Fresh Red Onion (diced or chopped)
3oz Chopped Garlic (fresh or in oil)
Fresh Chopped Basil
1oz Grated Romano or Parmesan Cheese
6-8oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2-3oz Balsamic Vinegar
After baking off, slice 1 Vie de France Midi Baguette into thick slices (about 20). Brush each slice with olive oil or use a garlic spray.
Place back in oven until each slice develops a slight crust.
Combine tomato, onion, garlic, and basil in a small mixing bowl. Add extra virgin olive oil and balsamic and stir again.
Use a slotted serving spoon to top each slice of bread with the bruschetta mixture.
Great for a banquet or menu appetizer! (One Midi Baguette serves 3-4 people)
